Affordable hotel
Based on the reviews on http://Booking.com, I was happy and decided to book the hotel. Honestly, I was not impressed. The room we received had a lot of cockroaches, the bathroom was very small, and the toilet and shower doors are too close to each other, which makes it very uncomfortable to move around. The water provided in the fridge tasted like tap water. On the second day, housekeeping did not change our bedding. I must admit the hotel is clean and we did enjoy the breakfast, even though they don't make omelettes. The staff were very friendly, including security and reception. Overall, it's not a family-friendly hotel for those with kids. For a business trip or a short stay in Durban and if you are on a budget, I would recommend the hotel. There is no parking inside the hotel. We had to drive 1km to park at a public parking lot opposite the Shoprite centre.
