Find a different place to stay
Location was perfect & the kebab across the street was the best ive ever had.
The owner blamed us for hair in the shower and gunk on the dishes that were already there when we arrived. (We were grossed out by the dishes in the cupboard and the shower wouldnt drain - it was so gross 😭). Next time I stay somewhere I am taking pictures when I arrive to show proof. Owner was communicating unprofessionally via whatsapp after we had left. He showed up when we hadn't even left the apartment yet which I have NEVER experienced before from a host. Were we running late? Absolutely but we emptied all the garbages to take with us. I never stayed somewhere where the host acted so unprofessionally and left me beyond confused. He wanted to charge us extra $$ because we used the kitchen even though it doesn't say anywhere on the booking that we cant use the kitchen. He even said we couldnt use the paper towel or cleaning supplies for the kitchen??? He was sending me pictures of the "mess" we made hours after we left (literal drops of water in the fridge 💀). I was so baffled by this experience but again It taught me to take pictures when I arrive somewhere in case the host tries to scam me for $$.
