Great Location but the Service Needs Improvement!
Pontevecchio Rooms is in a great location in Florence, within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops.
Unfortunately, while the location was a definite plus, our overall experience was affected by several service and housekeeping issues. We informed the property in advance that we would arrive between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., yet we ended up waiting approximately two hours outside the building before we were able to get in. This was frustrating, especially after traveling. In all fairness to Pintevecchio Rooms, this might have been because of no internet connection available, and even though I purchased mobile data for my phone, getting a reliable connection was difficult, possibly because of the thick walls in these older buildings. During our stay, there were days when we did not receive fresh towels. The toilet seat was missing its cover, and on our first night, I noticed a lipstick smudge on the floor near the edge of the bed, which made me question whether the floor had been properly cleaned before our arrival. The closet had only three hangers, and the common area offered very few basic amenities. These are relatively simple things that could make a significant difference in a guest’s experience, such as ensuring the room is thoroughly cleaned, the bed is properly made, fresh towels are provided consistently, and basic items like coffee cups and plastic drinking cups are available. Overall, the location is excellent and makes exploring Florence convenient. However, the property would benefit from better communication, a smoother check-in process, and more attention to housekeeping and basic guest comforts. With some improvements in these areas, the stay could be much more enjoyable.

Very good location! Clean and comfortable room. Very good value for money.
It a little bit noisy at night. They have some though rules about checking in and out.

Excelente Experiencia
