Good value, clean venue for one or two nights

A friendly venue with recently decorated rooms. A bit quirky - steps up to the bathroom and rooms are not big. However, everything is lovely and clean and a coffee machine in the room is great for an inexpensive venue. On a busy road so a bit of noise until around 11.30pm but otherwise fine. No noise from the pub on a Thursday evening but not a place to stay at the weekend unless you are also out late! No breakfast but lots of lovely breakfast venues nearby.

Better instructions needed for the morning.

Clean rooms but the noise from the music did spoil my stay unfortunately.

    Very close to the station

The property itself was fine and the staff were great very helpful. The only issue I had was that after payment I received a message letting me know that it’s a live music venue and music would be happening up until 2am on the nights I booked. It stated in the email that if i had an issue with that to get in contact with the venue directly which I did. I asked if it would be possible to be moved to a room that might be less noisy. The response I got was very poor in terms of customer service. I was told it would be noisy throughout the venue (understandably) and that if that would be an issue for me to find alternative accommodation. Not the best response when payment had already been taken an d no option to actually refund the payment. If you’re happy to party up until 2am then it’s the place for you. But if that’s not your thing definitely avoid.
