    Comfortable stay in Kyoto

    Can say only good things about the place, it had everything we expected & needed during our week-long stay. Communication with the host was very smooth, which made check-in easy. We appreciated being able to wash/dry our clothes, the nice bath tub and small garden. A lot of space in the second floor and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook something at home. No issues locating the place. Various transportation options made getting around Kyoto easy.

    The location of the house is easy to find. I have seen others say it is difficult. It really was not. Close to bus stop also. The amenities in the house are great, specifically the bath and shower. The actual feel of the house is also really good. The stairs were not the best but far from what other reviewers have said. I am 6 foot 4 and did not really have a problem.

    As soon as we got in, we noticed there was no samurai armour in the living area. There were images with it when we booked and they have since been changed, although we had no notice. I wouldn't say it was the entire reason we stayed here but did play a part in booking the house for the "wow" factor and we were disappointed not to see it. It is also in the name of the location itself... Also if looking at this house on Hotels.com and not booking.com, you can still see the old pictures.
