Very bad experience, rude hosts and should be pulled off from hotel sites
Nothing specific to stay that I liked except the weather of Darjeeling
First of all, the worst experience that i ever had staying in a home stay especially with my mother. The house owner were very impolite, rude and peeked in the night hours inside our room where 2 women are staying with en excuse saying that the lights were on and windows are wet. You are staying in Darejeeling and it is raining outside and what would you expect. Then he was givign classes on how to use the geyser and inverter and questioning whether I was educated enough to use these stuff. I am a customer or a guest to your place and would you treat me like that. I booked this stay as this had a good rating and now Im honestly wondering whether its a real rating or some cooked up rating given by their own people in different IDs. The place was very inside and not on the main road and it was difficult for me and aged mother to travel all along the way . For loners, this might be a betterstay but for family its not worth even half the price that you pay for this homestay. I guess the apps shouldnt encourage such home stay who bosses around their customers and treat you disrespectfully. No breakfast was provided eventhough I paid for it and I really didnt bother to ask these rude people oand argue with them while I was with my mother who is an aged lady and wanted to chill for couple of days in Darjeeling.

The room was clean and i got 24/7 hot water facility . Uncle and aunty, both are very friendly and welcoming. I will surely suggest this homestay for anyone looking for 🫶
