The house was lovely and the location was great, but the cleanliness could have been much better.
The location was great, the area was peaceful and quiet, and the house itself was lovely. There was also a shop about a 13-minute walk away.
Unfortunately, the house was quite dirty when we arrived.

Great location but housekeeping needs to be looked at. Would not stay again.
Great location for the velodrome. Good size bedrooms.
Where do I start…..carpets were grubby with stains in most rooms , grass growing though the patio doors, outside space unkempt with simple founding chairs, left behind slipper and child’s toys, unusable washing line. In the lounge dirty and not dusted, with an endless fan/whirring from the box on the wall from IT/internet equipment. Paper (used written on ) stuck on Frount door for privacy. In the kitchen we had to clean before use, nothing felt clean, the freezer was frozen solid and could not shut the door. Previous visits fish and chips in the bin. Bedding very questionable and looked reused - so much so we went and brought our own. No plug in the bath, no bath mats or floor towels. Upstairs ensuite orange soap scum to the grout. No bin bags in toilet bins. Missing blinds and most were broken. Bed side lights broken and looked unsafe. Mattress with no mattress covers on, very used and single beds very small. Drying bedding and towels over a mountain of bedding blocking the boiler and over the travel cot in a wardrobe…..I could go on! For the price we payed very disappointing. House Photos were obviously taken quite a while ago not like this now.

Could have been better...
The house is suitable for a family or group of 8 people. The layout of rooms is comfortable.
The housekeeping was really really bad. 1) carpet was dirty 2) soap residue not wiped off 3) cobwebs at windows 4) pillow cases and bedsheets all wrinkled and badly laid, makes you wonder if cleanliness 5) garden not kept or cut, old rubbish from previous guests still in the garden 6) wild grass growing to the doors going into the living room 7) sofas not clean 8) broken kitchen chair not removed, people can sit and hurt themselves 9) window blinds need repairs 10) mattresses were uncomfortably sinking in the middle. 11) pillows very flat and lumpy Overall, the poor housekeeping spoilt the experience.
