    Fabulous place, but be prepared for very loud music until 1am.

    The place is really nice, lovely set up, spacious and comfortable.

    It's above a pub (which is also lovely, great atmosphere), unfortunately it's supposed to close at 11pm and the music went on extremely loud (floors were shaking!) until just before 1am. Would stay again but only for a party evening, not with kids or if needed to chill before 1am.

    A characterful property that's super convenient for shops and restaurants

    The Fox Den was ideal for us as an extended family with a dog. Loads of space, multiple rooms, and very convenient for just about everything. Our stay coincided with a heatwave, so we had the windows open most of the time. Sure, the traffic could be a bit noisy - and with the pub's beer garden packed too, this wasn't a quiet stay. But the pub and flat are great. Other good things include convenient parking, lots of nearby shops and restaurants, and a pleasant park 30 seconds away in which to walk the dog.

    The flat is genuinely great, but it could do with a bit of TLC in terms of exterior paint on the balcony. But this was just a small thing overall.

    Really pleasant overnight stay with good pizza to boot 😃

    Really convenient location, ideal for what we needed. Really spacious - would be a great place to stay with friends for a weekend, as it has lots of room and is situated above a great pub too 😃
