Very nice hotel in the heart of the tourist area of Florence with a great breakfast and attentive staff.
Location right in the heart of the area most tourists would want to see, so easy walking distance from most sites. Welcoming and helpful staff. The style of the hotel was very polished and attractive. Very good breakfast with very friendly and helpful breakfast staff. The small hotel room was very well designed to make the most of the space. The windows completely blocked out the noise on the street.
The room was a bit too hot and the two staff who tried to help with that at different times were not able to fix it. It seems that the thermostat in the room wasn’t working properly. They kept telling us the temperature would go down after we set it lower, but it never went down. Also, a very tiny elevator! If you don’t want to be right in the thick of tourists, this is not the place for you. The street was always very busy and crowded.
