Heavy traffic noise from main A road immediately outside, although constant only at rush-hour, and not so bad at night. Double glazing helped but the hot summer weather meant that even with the supplied fan the window had to remain open. Otherwise good value for money, a comfortable stay and a good base for the many local attractions.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the kestrel. The owner was very pleasant and welcoming. They were flexible with timings and the breakfast was super tasty!

    Great host

Richard was a great host. Although we disnt need much from him, he was willing to help us with bags and communication was excellent.

Positives: Great views, good WiFi and good service/host. Negatives: Not sound proof in the least, situated on a busy/fast A road with lots of HGV's (check street view).
