    Great ocean view just across the promenade. This older Victorian building has huge windows which open wide to allow the sea breeze.. Armina, the host was very friendly and helpful and allowed me to park my bicycle inside. The hotel really brings back the feeling of bygone days. It is right in the center of the beach area so pubs and restaurants are quite handy. The promenade is right across the street and walking there is lovely.

    The stairs are steep circular and narrow. Since the ceilings on each floor are nice and tall, it is a long way up to the second and third floors. There is no elevator so if you are infirm or have trouble with stairs request the lobby level or the first floor at most.
