    Unfortunately we won’t be recommending this place.

    Very friendly little pub, nice cosy but modern room, only 10 minutes or so from Scarborough.

    We felt let down by the food and staff unfortunately. From the images of the food online, we were really looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately when we received our food for the evening, it was just ok, the fish didn’t seem fresh and was poor quality. The burrito, was clearly microwave rice and just not the standard we were expecting. We had breakfast included in our stay. The continental has a very small range to choose from. A few breakfast cereals, apple or fresh orange juice, tea or coffee and then a few small tubbed yoghurts. Both of us had the full English and again felt let down by the quality and presentation. The staff just seemed as though they didn’t want to be there and weren’t the most approachable. Due to this we won’t be booking again.
