Tolle maritimes Ambiente, nette Menschen, ungewöhnliche Zimmer, maritimes Flair. Super
Das Ship & Trades kannten wir schon von einem Besuch vor einigen Jahren. Tolle Lage nah an London. Nette Menschen. Hier fühlen wir uns wohl.

Good location, nice staff, hotel a bit shabby
The breakfast included in the rate of the hotel offered a good selection. The hotel has nice views of boats and it is a short stroll to Chatham dockyard, the river walk and the outlet centre which includes cafes and restaurants. The staff serving breakfast were particularly friendly and attentive. The bed was comfortable. The pub downstairs is warm and inviting. We did dine in the pub for Sunday lunch but the food was very average.
The hotel is dated and worn and needs maintenance. Comments on google dating back nearly two years suggest the halls outside really need cleaning repainting and we would agree. Furnishings in the room were quite shabby and had cigarette burns on their surfaces. The seal at the bottom of the shower needs replacing which meant the floor was soaked every time you had a shower. The shower was over the bath and it was quite slippery getting in and out. A sign asked you to use a shower curtain which did not exist! Someone needs to walk through this hotel and fix a few things. Note there is no milk supplied in the room for tea and coffee so you need to go downstairs and ask for fresh milk - bit inconvenient at times. For what we paid I felt it was very overpriced.

Enjoyed our stay very much.
Good location right on the dockside. Five minutes drive to Historic Dockyard, could have walked but it was raining. Shopping precinct near hotel. Great walk around St Mary’s Island and beautiful view over marina. Nice large room 12.
Restaurant was always too busy so we had to eat in the bar for our two nights. But it was fine and the food was very good.
