Very pleasant & peaceful with easy access to all the local places of interest

The welcome pack, including the home made loaf of bread & cream tea upon arrival was a lovely touch especially after a long drive.

This is simply an observation not a dislike! The light in the living room didn't give enough light to enable reading comfortably if you wanted to sit by the window, so the property could benefit with a corner lamp by - behind the sofa so you had light behind you.

    Quiet and beautiful location

Chris and Carol were very helpful. There was a lovely cream tea on arrival and a freshly baked loaf of bread. Delicious! Had everything we needed. Thankyou to both of you.

The only thing which was a problem was the bed. It was a lovely big bed but there was a dip in the middle. This was unfortunate because i have a spinal problem and woke up uncomfortable if i rolled towards the middle. We tried to sort the problem by laying two pillows in the middle.

Spotlessly clean. Lovely homemade scones on arrival - and fabulous homemade bread. A great wee cottage to stay on.

A bit of a trudge from car park to the accommodation but nothing can be down about that.

    Excellent hosts. Great location

A lovely cottage perfect for two people. There was a loaf of homemade bread and scones made by the owner in the cottage when we arrived. Chris met us on arrival and gave us excellent recommendations for the area. The location was excellent , about 10 minutes outside Bideford and within easy access of Barnstable.

    The early check out (9am)
