  Was very quiet and secluded. Peaceful location and had been well thought out. Very cosy and quirky.

  Nothing thought property was exactly what it said,no negatives.

  The thatchie was such a lovely stay! The bed was comfortable, facilities were great, it was extremely peaceful and loved our little balcony for our morning coffee!

  We had a wonderful stay at The Thatchie. The cabin was clean, comfortable and very peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and everything was well prepared for our arrival. Thank you for a lovely experience, we would happily stay again. Highly recommended!!

  Lovely but needs a clean

  Great looking property, load of space

  Sent this to the host Dear Host Thank you for the opportunity to stay in this unique property. We really appreciated the history of the Thatchie, the story behind the farm, and the photographs showing the restoration of the barn. It is clear that a great deal of care and effort has gone into preserving its character. Unfortunately, there are a few points I feel I should raise following our stay. Firstly, the hot tub was very dirty and appears to require draining and a thorough clean. Secondly, while the accommodation had clearly been cleaned, the interior of the Thatchie would benefit from a deeper clean, as there were quite a few cobwebs and areas of dust throughout. I would also like to mention the stairs leading to the bedroom. While others may be comfortable using them, we found them to feel unsafe, particularly during the night when accessing the bathroom. The stair lighting is helpful, but because it is linked to the main light, it is not the most practical solution. Even with the lighting, the stairs felt quite narrow and potentially hazardous. The bath robes are dis-coloured and look like they have never been washed, the bathroom sink doesn’t flow and maybe blocked In addition, given the price charged for the stay, I believe greater attention to these areas would be expected. In our opinion, the accommodation is somewhat overpriced for the overall experience provided. Unfortunately the above took the edge off what should have been a lovely evening. That said, we did enjoy our stay and wanted to provide this feedback constructively. For that reason, I do not feel comfortable leaving a public review,
