Get away from the crowds and enjoy an amazing view
The location is very nice with amazing views across Lake Como. The area is very local and away from the crowds in Varenna which we liked. We had dinner and breakfast at the local cafe - the only one available - but the food was very good, and seeing the locals meeting there on a regular basis was so nice. The apartment was very comfortable with most amenities available and the views were next to amazing. The fact there was free parking nearby was a bonus also.
The apartment is very comfortable however we did have some issues with the wifi being very sporadic and not really worth using. The shower was interesting in that both the bath tap and the shower rose ran at the same time - we were not able to convert to one or the other, and the water became cold after a short period. We also suggest the tapparelle (screen) in the bedroom is repaired as we were unable to block the light out during sleep, and please provide some coffee if you are going to provide a coffee machine. Small things that would have made the stay 110%

Lovely host, beautiful views, immaculately clean quirky apartment.
It’s a bit of a juggle to get there by day a steep one hour walk or infrequent buses. However by night there is a free shuttle bus on demand and luggage ca be stored at the railway station until 7.30 pm for 5 Euri

Het was heel erg heet in de accommodatie, geen airconditioning of minimaal een ventilator dat is echt wel een gemis !!

Die Aussicht ist großartig. Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar und ist gleichzeitig nah dran an den Hauptorten an der Ostseite des Sees. Insbesondere Morgens ist es dort sehr ruhig, so dass man beim Frühstück in Ruhe die Aussicht genießen kann.
Während unseres Aufenthaltes war es sehr warm. Dabei war es nicht so einfach, die Räume zu lüften, und zu verhindern, dass gleichzeitig Insekten von draußen reinkommen können. Auf Grund der Hanglage kriegt man sehr viel im Dorf mit, wie beispielsweise die laute Karaokemusik einer Bar bergabwärts bis tief in die Nacht.
