  Alles perfekt! Wir kommen wieder!

  Perfekte Lage im historischen Zentrum, Terrasse mit Blick über die Dächer aufs Meer, Balkone, grosse und helle Zimmer, sehr netter und immer erreichbarer Gastgeber, Küche mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet, Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp!

  Horrible experience

  Only the location

  Unfortunately, we had to leave this apartment after only one night, despite having booked and paid for a 5-night stay. The main issue was the air conditioning. The apartment is advertised as air-conditioned, but nowhere in the listing does it mention that the electricity — and therefore the AC — automatically switches off whenever you leave the apartment with the key. With temperatures reaching around 37°C in Syracuse, every time we went out we came back to an extremely hot apartment. We contacted the owner several times and explained the situation. We were told that the two AC units would cool the apartment down in “5 minutes”. In reality, even after running both units at maximum power for hours, the apartment remained uncomfortably hot. We even left them running at full power throughout the night, but the result was still insufficient. No workable solution was offered, so we eventually had no choice but to find another accommodation for the remaining four nights. Unfortunately, there were other issues as well: a bathroom window that could not be properly closed, allowing even more heat into the apartment; extremely low water flow from one of the taps; and, most concerning, electrical outlets/fixtures coming away from the wall with wiring and electrical components exposed. The apartment was also not as clean as we would have expected. We tried to resolve the situation directly with the owner before leaving, but without success. It is very disappointing to book an apartment advertised with air conditioning in the middle of the Sicilian summer and discover only after arrival that it cannot be used while you are out. We ultimately paid for alternative accommodation and moved out after our first night. Based on our experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this apartment.

  Soggiorno OTTIMO!

  Struttura molto accogliente e super pulita, la casa era grandissima e aveva un bel balcone con vista mare nel quale abbiamo fatto delle colazioni molto suggestive. La casa veramente ottima e luminosa, con aria condizionata funzionante. Lo staff è stato molto cordiale e ci ha accolti veramente bene in struttura spiegandoci tutto nel minimo dettaglio. Veramente ottimo.

  Di base sono molto soddisfatto della struttura, tuttavia al massimo posso dare il consiglio di mettere delle televisioni leggermente più grandi nelle camere, e poi una cosa leggermente scomoda è che la casa si trova al terzo piano senza ascensore. Per il resto tutto ok.
