    The Albanian people were a joy and the week far exceeded our expectations.

    The apartment was ideal for our group of 5 friends, having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, together with a very spacious open plan living/eating/kitchen space. We stayed for 7 nights, with two day trips outside Tirana through Skerdi at Local Friends Albania and in between there was plenty to do in and around Tirana. There would have been no point in renting a car, in fact it would have been an annoyance. Our host, Blerta and her son were very helpful - taxis where needed and providing lots of information. One local place we ate at which merits a mention is Arco.
