It was near to Scenic world but was far from City center katoomba. There were spider webs and the house was not that clean. No dishwasher/wifi. The drains were leaking. TV was not working properly. Overall not that good experience.

My colleague and I had a three day stay at the Cottage looking for a home away from home, which we got as we were working nearby. It was warm, comfortable and plenty of room. Great facilities for entertaining and cooking.The only issues we had was that the key we were given only unlocked the front door so we had to walk a few steps down the side of the house to gain access to the back porch and BBQ which we used. My car (5 seat sedan) has a few problems getting in and out (very tight) so eventually I parked on the street. The second car we had ( a small VW golf) had no issue. Will go back again. Great communication with the owner and a resource folder helped us out in finding attractions. Good location to scenic world.

Rustic cottage in Blue Mountains
My adult daughters and I enjoyed Arcadia cottage for a 1 night stay particularly the gas fireplace and the heated mattress pads on the beds. It is quite rustic and best enjoyed by those who share the owner’s love of antiques. The kitchen would have benefited from a larger refrigerator and more wine glasses. It was very quiet and the deck was lovely as was the garden.

Nice cottage. Has a lovely backyard area and a good sized deck. Needs better beds.
