Disappointed room
Great location walking distance to york centre and train station
Bad smell on entering the room and accommodation Smell of stagnant or drain water in the toilet Bed to low, bed tilting towards the headboard and didn't feel level and mattress poor could feel the springs in our backs Poor position for tv plus had to sit on bed with no support Dirty room, dust, cobwebs, finger marks and stains Furniture old, stained, broke and top of draws coming off looks like water damage Vey high step into the shower which wasn't told about. Plus no where to put your toiletries in the bathroom Felt over priced for 2 night stay with £30 added on for parking in there own property. Breakfast bacon was chewy, poor quality in sausage and food was only warm Humming noise in the room day and night. This was in the outter cottage poor decor, looks like they have spent money in the main hotel and bar lounge area

Great staff, worth a stay.
Friendly and very responsive staff. They don't put any shower gel/shampoo in the room but have it readily available at reception so you only take what you need. Great idea to reduce plastic waste.
Little bit outdated, just a coat of paint and some modernising but nothing was bad. Not too close to the city centre, I dont think you could walk it. We did have a car though so it wasn't an issue but just worth noting.

Beautiful property, large comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Ideally situated within walking distance of the City centre. Private parking.
They do allow dogs in certain rooms and whilst this is not something I agree with, I completely understand that it is necessary in order to accommodate everyone.

Der Aufenthalt war gut aber nicht speziell.
Frühes Parkieren möglich, Rampen und nicht nur Treppen, Freundlichkeit des Personals, Nähe Zentrum
Frühstück ist lieblos zubereitetn mit Zutaten von minderer Quslität. Es fehlt an Inspiration und Presentation. Der Tee war nicht heiss sonder lauwarm.
