If you're looking for a central location in Venice at an affordable rate this is your place!
The property was within a short walk of San Marco Basilica and Doge's Palace and worked great for our short 3 day trip to Venice. It was neat and clean and the owner Matteo made us feel like family.
The property has a washing machine but not a dryer. If you need to wash clothes just be sure to allow enough time to let them air dry. There are clotheslines available out the window in the kitchen which ended up working out well for us.

Fabulous old apartment from 13th century, 5 adults staying for a “ once in a lifetime” trip. We had 3 nights booked and were really looking forward to it.
The owner would not allow the a/c units on so we had to open the bedroom windows for air. The 1st morning two of us woke to 50+ bites on our faces and arms. Assumed they were mosquitos as we did see many come in the windows. HOWEVER by day 2 , I had over 100 bites and went to the Pharmacist for some antihistamines. They informed us that the majority of bites were Bed Bugs!!! As the day progressed all 5 started showing bed bug bites. We searched the beds and found blood stains and dead bug casings. The owner refused to come meet us and challenged us saying there were NO bugs even after photo evidence. We had no choice but to leave after 2 nights and received no compensation( very expensive rental!) We moved accommodation and found a live bug in a suitcase so had to spend an entire day in a laundromat washing & drying clothes, also bought a new suitcase as had no way to sterilize while travelling.
