We booked this stay for a short Venice trip with our elderly parents, who were visiting Italy for the first time, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The accommodation felt more like adjoining rooms than separate apartments. There was practically no sound insulation: from the moment we arrived, we could clearly hear small children running, crying and shouting next door as if they were in the same room. The following morning we were woken at 7:20 by the noise. Part of the accommodation was also not ready when we arrived, there were only two forks, and the layout was inconvenient, with a walk-through room and only one bathroom. We reported the noise immediately and provided videos, but no effective solution or fair compensation was offered. We asked for a refund of half of what we paid and were refused. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the price and the fact that this was a special trip for our parents.

We had a wonderful stay at Ca Mascaron. The location was perfect, very central and ideal for exploring Venice on foot. We especially loved the interior of the house. The high ceilings and spacious rooms made it feel very bright, airy and comfortable. The beautiful historic details and architecture gave the house so much character. Staying there made us feel as if we were experiencing a little piece of old Venice, which made our trip even more special. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Luca, our host, and Nicoló, who welcomed us, were both very kind, helpful and attentive. Venice is already a magical city, but staying at Ca Mascaron made our experience even more memorable. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit to Venice. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything! ❤️
