Candy House was clean, comfortable, and nicely located.
The property was immaculate. The grounds around the property were well landscaped and pretty. The view of the lake and mountains was beautiful. The hosts left a lot of goodies for us including coffee, biscotti, snacks, and eggs from their own chickens! The first floor of the house had a gym and a laundry room. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You could walk into town or drive to a convenient public parking garage.

Beautiful and clean. Amazing views of the lake. Sergio was amazing. He was there to check us in. He actually lives next door. We were also welcomed with some eggs, fruit and snacks. Super thoughtful. There is also a gym. Which we used.
Nothing that the owner could do. The location was a little far from Varenna town center. We ended up walking every morning and night back to the house. It was about 30-40 mins each way. We didn’t mind it, was a great walk actually. We would go early around 9a to avoid the summer heat and return after 8p and it was cooler. But if you have small children or disabilities, this may not be the house for you

A Dream Vacation
A luxurious vacation home with a unique view of Lake Como. Exceptional quality and an interior built and furnished with meticulous attention to detail. Simple online check-in, detailed directions to the property. Attentive property owners. Parking available at the owners’ home, about 80 m from the vacation home. The garage can accommodate an SUV. Despite its proximity to the railroad tracks, it is a quiet location. Central multi-zone air conditioning. Excellent cleanliness throughout the house, including dishes, linens, and towels.
