The general standard of the hotel.
The guests in this hotel are NOT given priority over outsiders who may have booked a table in one of the bars for some occasion or other. On two occasions once in the Claridges bar and once in the PAINTERS i was told I could only have a table for about 30 minutes. One evening at around 5.15pm and another evening at around 6.15pm. Also I ate in the two main restaurants Dinner in two and afternoon tea in one. My experience in The Foyer&Reading Room was top class. However,Dante Mafair was like eating in Wembley football stadium during an Engaland match. The NOISE WAS HORRENDOUS. Personally I prefer the RITZ hands down.
