A warm and friendly guest house in the heart of Ambleside with an exceptional breakfast.

My stay at Compston House was very enjoyable. The owners were helpful, patient and attentive and were also friendly. The breakfast was excellent from the choice of things to eat to the quality and competence of how the food was cooked and served. Well done.
