The location was fantastic and the room was cheap. The sheets, towels, toilet and sink were clean, and the bed was comfortable. For a two night stay in Venice, where my budget was limited and in which I spent most of my time outside and exploring the city, it met my needs. If you are travelling on a budget and just want somewhere well located to sleep in, then this is a fair choice.
This is a budget hotel, and given the price and location the value was fair. However, I was on the ground floor and there was a strong smell of drains, so I kept the window open most of the time but had to close the window overnight because of the noise outside. The walls are thin and you could hear other guests moving around in their rooms. The general cleanliness of the room wasn't great: the corners of the room had clearly not been cleaned in a while, the surfaces were dusty, and the tv had splatter marks on it (I don't want to know what caused that). My room also had clearly experienced severe water damage at some point (likely due to bad flooding that the city is prone too, so not the fault if the accommodation), but this combined with the general cleanliness and the drain smell made the room a little unpleasant to be in. Given the reviews of other guests, and the photos of other rooms, I wonder if the rooms on higher floors are more pleasant to stay in.

Excelente ubicación.
La ubicación lo mejor. Las 2 botellas de agua de cortesía y las cápsulas de café. En el baño habia todo tipo de amenities.
La situación de nuestra habitación, justo al lado de la puerta del portal. Nos enterabamos por la noche cuando salía o entraba cada huésped. Se escuchaban bastante los pasos del piso de arriba.

Fun trip overall.
The staff of First Dream Venice was excellent to communicate and coordinate with and were as friendly and helpful as they could have been. Accommodations were clean and conveniently located in a quiet pocket, great for getting a good night's rest.
Nothing directly related to our stay with First Dream Venice. Everything about First Dream Venice was pleasant, and we appreciated the features of the accommodations.
