    Clean, excellent staff, superb value

    Our room had an ensuite bathroom, and both were very clean. The staff clean the rooms and can replace towels daily. There is a well-stocked shared kitchen with coffee and an assortment of teas (including coca and chachacoma to help with altitude sickness) and condiments to make cooking easy. There is also a washing machine for guests. The manager, Juan Pablo, speaks fluent English as well as Spanish. He and the other staff offer great help to organise tours, transport or anything else in San Pedro. It is about a 10-minute walk from the centre of San Pedro, which might be why it is cheaper than other accommodation, but that just made it exceptional value for us; we didn't mind the walk.

    The room is quite small and it would have been nice to have some hanging space for clothes. There is a shelving unit in the room for guests to put their luggage, folded clothes and other items.
