Location and breakfast were the best!
The location was great, very close to St Marco square and other sites. Breakfast was really good and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very small tight room, tiny shower, very hard to maneuver inside even for a normal size person. The safe didn’t have a keypad, they give you a key which you keep during your stay with €10 deposit. The entrance inside the hotel has a very long set of stairs, hard for people with mobility issues even though the room was on the first floor.

Beautiful Venice Stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Mercurio in Venice! The suite was quaint, beautiful and full of charm, and the canal view was simply amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well — a huge plus given the heat in Venice! The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to Rita, who was incredibly helpful and shared some wonderful tips and tricks for exploring Venice, which made our experience even better. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend Hotel Mercurio for its charm, lovely rooms, canal views and genuinely welcoming hospitality!
Booked a private water taxi in advance as we had a train to board- the guy never showed and we missed our train. I'd probably not rely on the hotel contact the next time.
