  We had a wonderful stay at Mar Suite and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

  The location was very convenient, the apartment had two rooms, both rooms were comfortable and clean, and everything was exactly what we needed for our family stay in Istanbul. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. For a family travelling with children, Mar Suite was a great choice. We felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of, and the overall experience made our time in Istanbul even more enjoyable.

  A nice place needing a lot of improvement

  Property is located in a rather peaceful and safe neighbourhood, with an easy access to tram and buses. There are some very good shops around, with friendly and welcoming staff, as well as very nice bakery in front, with freshly baked simits available in the morning. The view from the master bedroom is very nice, with sea visible. You can experience the real life of the city walking in this neighbourhood.

  The condition of the room I was lodged in at first (Apt 2 on third floor) was very far from the photos. The master bedroom was messy, with much junk placed at one side of the room and with the ceiling in really bad order. Worst of all, as it was raining outside, the rain was dripping inside as well. I had to contact the host and the booking.com customer support and I finally got the apartment changed the next day and it was fine since then, but experience was extremely unpleasant, seeing the rain dripping inside the bedroom is the last thing after a tiresome nights travel. The place is really cheaply decorated, everything is rather low quality. I mean, I have travelled excessively and had been into countless rented apartments, but the level of how cheap and low quality most of the things in the apartment was, is difficult to compare to anything. The curtain rods for example were almost falling and holding there with tape. The apartment was rather noisy and with the windows locked, it still felt like being outside. This was mostly due to thin walls as well as the air conditioning pipes being run through the windows making the isolation rather bad quality.

  Docela dobrý byt, jen potřeba inzerát upřesnit

  Líbilo se nám, že v každém pokoji byla klimatizace; to nás zachránilo! Také lokalita byla ok – lidé kolem ubytování byli zřejmě zvyklí, že jsou tam hosté, a byli nápomocní.

  Trouba vůbec nefunguje – ani není zapojená do sítě. Majitel sdílel, že nikdy nebyla zprovozněna. To mě dost překvapilo, jelikož jsme jako rodina s tím počítali, že některá jídla budeme vařit sami.
