    Book next door - appears much nicer

    Location only..

    A very disappointing stay. Two plumbers visited without any prior consultation with us, causing considerable inconvenience and leaving the property smelling of sewage. Only two rolls of toilet paper were supplied for four people staying four days. We requested fresh towels but received none. Happy to launder ourselves but no washing machine powder, The communication system was unnecessarily complicated, and urgent calls for assistance went unanswered. The carpets / couch were filthy, the plumbing appeared to be in poor condition, and the floorboards were buckled. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with cheap polyester bedding. No air con - no curtain to street lights Overall, we really did not enjoy staying here. Reply to your response.. Your response reinforces our concerns. We were never informed there was a plumbing emergency or that plumbers would be entering the property. Our issue was never that you fixed it - it was the complete lack of communication. I have uploaded screenshots of our unanswered communication attempts, including via your emergency contact, along with photos showing the cleanliness issues. A formal complaint has also been made to Booking.com. Four guests, four nights, two rolls of toilet paper no washing power and no fresh towels despite requesting them - those are facts, not exaggerations. The carpets / couch were filthy, the plumbing appeared to be in poor condition, and the floorboards were buckled. Go stay there yourself & see. After four weeks and 10+ properties with positive experiences, this was the exception. Once again, your response attempts to blame the guest rather than acknowledge legitimate concerns. The place is grotty. We certainly wouldn’t return, so at least we agree on that.!
