    Central quiet stay in beautiful historic house.

    Central, quiet, quirky property. Large light beautiful bedrooms individually decorated.

    Layout of sitting room is odd and can’t easily be moved. It might be helpful to have arm chairs of two smaller sofas in the television part, so they can be moved to join the other part of the room. Some parts of the property would benefit from refurbishment.

    Location was fantastic. Beds were extremely comfortable and the house was spotless. The house had so much character that it really fitted the vibe of historic York which is why we didn't choose a modern house. Kitchen well stocked. Communication was fantastic and timely. We all really enjoyed our stay and hope to rebook in the future.

    Small things as the stay was excellent. Small sink upstairs - due to cupboard over it couldn't use it properly - spit toothpaste out etc. as you can't get your head over the sink. Woodwork could do with a paint - looking a bit tired.

    Beautiful old home in a great location.

    There were many narrow stairs to get from Bedrooms to bathrooms to kitchen etc. Also, we had a toilet that didn’t work and then flooded. We would have preferred locks on the bathroom doors as well.
