  Willow cottage rye perfect getaway

  Loved this cosy cottage! Everything you need for a quiet, comfy stay..5 mins by car to rye , perfect for a short getaway. Wasn't expecting under floor heating in bathroom! Luke was a very good host, would definitely recommend this accommodation

  Great for a short break (3 nights)

  The property was quaint. The lounge furniture was a little tired but OK. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was clean and tidy. Bedroom was a good size with good storage and USB plugs near to bed, which were very handy

  With single glazing, which whilst in keeping with the property could have benefitted from secondary double glazing. Heating worked well, so never cold. Garden was a little disappointing as basically overgrown.

  Cosy Cottage stay with some areas for improvement

  The cottage was cosy and had a lovely comfy bed. Spacious lounge and decent kitchen, plus an exceptional amount of books and reading materials. Communication was good and hosts were very accommodating of our request to park two vehicles.

  The garden/outdoor area was very overgrown and tucked around the side of the cottage (only access to this was via the front door and round the side of the garage), we didn’t end up using it at all despite the hot weather as it just didn’t feel very accessible or well maintained. The shower also only ran hot which wasn’t ideal. There was a bath though so we used this instead, otherwise we would have mentioned it during our stay.

  Made to feel very welcome by our hosts and location was excellent.

  The location was good allowing us to be able to visit other places of interest.
