    Beautiful grounds and very friendly staff, but the rooms are in need of improvement.

    A very lovely hotel, located slightly outside the city. A very quiet and spacious property.

    Officially a 5-star hotel, but not during our stay. The room clearly hadn’t been checked beforehand! There were defects, including a missing toilet paper holder, and the bathroom couldn’t be heated because the heater was broken. At 11 p.m., we were offered the option to change rooms, but we declined since we were departing early the next morning.

    Not worth the money

    Food was excellent…

    Room we were in was very noisy, no chance of a sleep in after a long drive to get there. Nothing worth the £225 per night, and nothing offered to us as a way of apology.

    As always we will come back for the luxury, good service and excellent menu at the Skylark

    my second stay there......the staff are first class and the skylark restaurant was again amazing. Immaculate rooms and the deluxe room is highly recommended over the standard room

    Very minor but an EV charger would have been much appreciated. It would have been nice to have a swimming pool on the premises but maybe in the future is being considered.
